So. Generally, with a few exceptions, this forums membership is heavily painted with #44 support.
So I would herby like to announce, for this season, I shall be throwing my full support behind RedBull.
Mercedes have had their fun. Won their trophies. Have dominated. And now we need someone else to win it.
RedBull might not be the best choice as they have already had their fair share of domination. However I have chosen them for the following reasons:
1) I like the cut of their jib when it comes to the humour with which they promote themselves 2) I very much like both their drivers 3) They have a chance of winning something 4) They are not Ferrari
There is only one downside about RedBull. And that's Horner. But hey, you can't win them all.
So as soon as I get to work later I shall be unveiling a new Avatar.
You may now commence the mocking.

I'm throwing my WCC support behind Redbull, WDC support still for King Lewis who was the rightful winner of 2016, 2007 and 2011.
Disclaimer: I'm not a fanboy.
EDIT
Btw, some of you will heavily disagree but I'd really love having Horner leading Mercedes. He comes across as a d!ck at times but every team boss is always furthering their own teams interest, so being hypocritical at times comes with the game. I remember Brawn being a major d!ck at times to McLaren during his Ferrari days. And Toto Wolff comes across as a backpeddling, political, wannabe-team-boss piggyback riding on the genius and hard work of past and present Mercedes personnel.
What the f has he ever done in F1 before Mercedes, I can't recall a damn thing except owning some shares at Williams and giving pillow talk to Suzie Wolff.

Teams come and go. Drivers, without them we might as well be watching a drone racing series.

If it's about rooting for teams then Force India takes it, with (Lotus) now Renault a close second, what they did with their respective budgets was nothing short of spectacular. How can one not be a fan of that?

I can't choose a team over a driver. It would just be pretence. And I don't choose a driver because he's winning. I generally choose them before they've won anything. Senna, though I wasn't so fully into F1 then Hill. Because he joined racing late and still took it to Schumacher, and my mum met his dad. Montoya loved his style, still think he was underrated Lewis. supported him since before F1 because he's phenomenal in a car. In fact I don't consciously choose drivers, I just find myself getting drawn in. Teams. I think I support the team, but if my driver left so would I . I have a cupboard full of McLaren and Mercedes gear. I'm not buying team gear anymore. If that constitutes a fan girl then so be it. Hammer I'm also warming to Horner. I love it when he calls out Toto. I used to like Toto, but I've seen another side of him. Teams, non of them grab at my heart.
