May or may not come in handy for those wanting to predict pole times as the year goes on. Interesting anyway, shows the improvement. For the record, I'm pretty sure the aim was to make 2017 cars 5s faster than 2015 cars, not 2016, which is pretty much bang on. Track | 2017 Pole | 2016 Pole | Difference | Australia | 1:22.188 (Lewis Hamilton, Mercedes) | 1:23.837 (Lewis Hamilton, Mercedes) | -1.649 | China | 1:31.678 (Lewis Hamilton, Mercedes)

Haven't updated anything for a couple of races... so the above chart was done And because I enjoyed the Spanish GP, here's a few "Lewis" milestones passed / coming up: * Lewis overtook Jackie Stewart on winning %. * Lewis can win his 6th Canadian / Hungarian / USA races this season, any of which will elevate him to the Schumacher / Prost / Senna group of drivers winning 6+ times at the same race (not always same track.) * Lewis can win his 4th consecutive GB / USA races this season, either one lifting him to the Fangio / Clark / Senna / Schumacher group of drivers winning 4+ consecutive times at the same race. * Lewis is 1 pole position away from equaling Senna's 65 Total Poles. He is currently 4 behind Schumacher. * Lewis has 3 more races (Italy / Hungary / Canada) where he is going for his 6th Pole at that race. Any of them will add to his 2 other tracks (Australia / China) where he has 6 poles. If he takes all 3, he will be the ONLY driver with 6+ poles at 5 or more tracks (Currently Schumacher has 6+ poles at 4 tracks and Senna has them at 3 tracks. * Lewis moved to outright 2nd with his 12th "Pole/Fastest lap/Win" race.

Here we go! Jackie is Scottish! Stoney is Scottish! Grovel time! I think he was a good driver....really good. And I've read his book, and that was very good. And I like what he dies fir dyslexic kids.......it's just how he is with a Lewis, and was with Senna as he saw his records under threat. I wish he'd been more gracious about it like Surtees. And just accepted and recognised another excellent driver..... Grivel over
