Holy crap that first part of qualifying... the track improved crazy amounts. i.imgur.com/xgd0W50.pngNo one even close really to matching Red Bull at the moment...

Hamilton won't get pole... he has no tyre temperatures sensors working.

Well... tomorrow is going to be interesting.
Ferrari & Red Bull faster than Mercedes and not by a small margin, Vettel was 6 tenths faster than Hamilton and 1.1 faster than Bottas.
This might be a huge points swing towards Vettel for this race, Ferrari needed to get pole and win this and with Red Bull in between it's perfect for Ferrari.
McLaren with underpowered engines managing to do a more than good job, both McLarens out-doing the Mercedes customers teams comfortably.

Good qualifying, was hoping for Max though! The big question is if the Government will get the planes up to seed the clouds in time to stop the rain Will it rain? Can Lewis survive the first lap? Will Max & Seb have a crash? It will probably be all about getting the pit stops right and nailing the VSC and SC that are sure to arrive.

Exciting qualifying session today, tomorrow with a wet race, I think the SC will be very prominent on screen, and the podium is bound to surprise. Well surprise some, not me.

For fuck's sake, lets all hope a rainy race.I just finished a debate with a tifosi who said Hamilton was nowhere on a 'driver circuit'. I'm on the same mood as Dicaprio in this gif right now. The audacity to talk shit on a legend, the fuck.
Well for Ham this was predicted but it still doesn't feel nice. Great lap by Vettel though, credit where credit is due. What is annoying however is how when the Red Bulls got between Hamilton and Vettel in Monza they had penalties and now when it's the other way around, they'll stay there. I swear Vettel has the devil's luck.

That Ferrari today was set up for pole, the Red Bulls were tapped out after Q2 but like everyone else still took four or five tenths off the Q2 time. Vettel went a little deeper because track position is king here. It was a great lap, but whatever they took off today to get the pole will hurt tomorrow in the wet.

Debating with the bad tifosies is useless at the end of the day. They will start talking nonsense as usual 'Hamilton has the engine power advantage blablabla' . At least when you dont know your shit you listen the one who knows and dont talk nonsense, this is opposite with them, the more they dont know the more they talk like they know. They dont even have the courage to go back and check if what they said is relevant. Sometimes they know the real truth but still, they lie to themselves. Cray.

Okay, in defense of the tifosi, it's not the tifosi, it's asshole sheeple that for whatever reason, like Ferrari and (this is the important part) despise Hamilton as their personal demon. Sad little people usually, but I feel for their suffering.
I've actually had good conversation with some self professed tifosi that actually understood the sport and that Ferrari like every team has its strengths and its weaknesses, as well as first and foremost enjoying a good battle.
PS: but they're rare.

Look, as much as we'd love a wet race, we all know that the government will have Singapore Airlines flying in circles overhead seeding the clouds to enuse the rain is gone by race time! It's all part of the great Ferrari conspiracy! When will Vettel stuff it up. Will he crash? Will he get hit? Will the car break down? Will Ferrari find a way to ruin his day with bad pit calls? Will Verstappen get to see half distance for once? Fun fact, Alonso, Vandoorne, and Palmer have all done more laps than Verstappen in 2017 Can Hamilton recover to at least podium? Can he miracle a win? Will he get in one of his bad funk moods and sulk to 8th?

Worst case scenario is for Lewis to just end up 5th and trail Vettel by 12 points which isn't a disaster. But Singapore races are rarely so routine. If Lewis is in 5th after the first lap, I'd expect at least a podium for him. What I'm really hoping for is something else at the first corner not involving Lewis of course.
