normally I wouldn't get over excited about an eclipse, but it's a beautiful sunny day and it's getting darker. It's quite eerie.

Not supposed to look at it, but the temptation is overwhelming. You can look at it by letting the sun shine through a colander ( can't spell it, metal seive thing) and shine it into a piece of white paper. Each hole is like a little sun.

Don't know if it played a part, but it was the first time it stormed so bad here that my condo recreational floor got so flooded that some water even got to the lift area. Maintenance staff were mopping away furiously. It storms here anyway but this one was bad.

Last one was in 1999, next one is in 2027... today was nothing but cloud Yeah it was cloudy in London, so I saw nothing. I remember the one in 1999. I was 9 years old and was on a short family break in North Yorkshire. The sky darkened ever so slightly and that was about it. Nothing spectacular.

I can remember exactly where I was, walking to the shops and suddenly the sky started going weird, I didn't know what it was until I got home.
