I caught a rerun of P1 and P2 and I'm annoyed with how many times I confused a Force India for a Mclaren. I get the feeling the creative department for some teams are running out of inspiration for their liveries. Look no further than Sauber. Their car looks like a GP2 car, circa 2008. #forgawdsake

Ferrari again looked strong, Mercedes are still 0.7+ ahead at the moment.
Looks like it's going to be:
Mercedes
Ferrari & Williams
Red Bull & Toro Rosso Lotus Sauber Force India McLaren

Well I'm all set for quali. I'm staying at Nikkis, she has sky. There are 7 of us here. But I'm the only real hardcore fan, the others like but aren't getting up, they're recording it. Thing is I can't get the tele on. It was left last night with only one button to press, they know what I'm like. And whe I pressed it I got the message. ' your tv signal was lost, make sure the satellite box is on and plugged in to the Xbox' . Well that's that, I daren't start messing with cables so I have to watch on my iPad till someone gets up. Which means I can't go in chat. Anyway, at least I get to see it. It's time folks, it's time!!!

Lewis puts the hammer down when it matters. And Rosberg runs off the circuit. Lol

Lewis puts the hammer down when it matters. And Rosberg runs off the circuit. Lol That was a great first lap, put the pressure on when it matters and then Lolberg messed up putting EVEN more pressure on himself.

Rosberg's lap sucked, Hamilton went EVEN faster and was 0.6 faster than his teammate.
Bottass messed up his run in the last corner, he was on for P3 for sure. Williams are faster than Ferrari overall.
Well done to Riccardio managing to pull out 100% of his car.

Oh yes, oh Yes, oh yes!!!! That was swweeeeeet! *High five* The forecast for tomorrow looks like it's going to be raining so it makes it even more tricky but suits Hamilton.

Again, its unreliability which is Hamiltons enemy this season since Rosberg can keep coming in a default 2nd in every race and still keep the pressure on till the very end.

Yeah I heard that RyRy, that the locals were saying it could rain. Well lewis is in the best place to deal with it if it does. That was a resounding stamp of authority by Lewis , six tenths was it? Woop woop
The Ferraris look better than I thought they would, and the Red Bulls look worse than I thought they would. And Ricciardo has already used one of his engines. That's very bad news when they only get 4. I'm just listening to Ricciardo on Sky. I do like him. Nice guy.

Ron Dennis speaking at the moment just looks and sounds absolutely shell shocked. Six seconds off the pace!! Six seconds behind the pole car. Where are all the people now that said Lewis made the wrong choice? Well one of them is sitting at the back of the grid.

Great quali, lots of interesting developments even from testing. Lewis and Merc have simply ironed out things from lst year and got much better relative to others. Nico doesnt appear to have reinvented himself or brought any surprises, even sounding more like a number 2 than ever - 'just wasnt on top of it, but we have the whole race tomorrow etc etc' And I suspect Lewis is really a 'piss taking provocative little shit' sometimes - saying with a straight face 'You never know where my head will be on the weekend, but this time it was ok' - I mean first day back at school is any other day is it Lewis - Plus his increasing apparent forget fullness about races or what happened or 'I dont know what happened there' - this is all starting to border on boxer smack talk
Sainz and Verslappen - great pair to watch, they could become the team to watch behind Merc for drama, Verslapper is like a 2007 Lewis but with teenage hormonal issues hehe, I like him, will be good to see how his talent adapts to the F1 politics and other crap Lewis got. Sainz is almost the opposite but likely as entertaining
Ricc and Kyviat highlight how Red Bull is all about the car having some kind of advantage, without cheat gadgets car and drivers look average
Seb doing the best he can, but its long run race pace that I think could see the Williams, Lotus keep Ferrari down in the customary 4/5/6 place so beloved of Alonso

Again, its unreliability which is Hamiltons enemy this season since Rosberg can keep coming in a default 2nd in every race and still keep the pressure on till the very end. We analysed this last season and Lewis can have a dnf every 4 races. say we are having 20 races then Lewis could have 5 dnfs and as long as he wins the rest its fine This means he must beat Nico every race within his power - which he pretty much did last year. The problem comes with the spread of the dnfs and th effects on performance. I.e if Lewis starts with 2 dnfs and is 50 points behind, it shouldnt change the basic equation - but ofcourse the media and the expertz and the h8rs will turn it into his mental state etc etc Imagine if he came back from 5dnfs (125points) behind to spank Nicos bottom preferable at th last lap of the last race Pascal would be in the seat the year after
