Now it feels like a proper F1 forum.

All that's left now is an Australian GP 2015 prediction thread.

I just ordered myself a new TV stand to put the TV at the end of my bed, so I can be a lazy ass and not have to get up. Shame my walls are all plasterboard because I can't put wall mounts on the wall because the TV is way too heavy (50" Plasma TV). I got: www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00MW1HCAQ so I can't wait to watch the aussie GP from in bed. I'm so excited for this years F1, more so than I've ever been for any season and I don't know why.

Any of you guys have a 4K tv? My mother in law wants a new TV and I was going to give her my old 42 inch and get a 50 inch with the 4K. My cable provider doesn't broadcast 4K yet but F1 trialed it last year so it can't be too far away.
A 50" Samsung with 4K resolution is under $800 bucks.

Sure it looks better but anything above 4K is overkill (like Apple trying their 5K PR stuff) because you can't see the difference... I saw a 4k vs 8k about a month ago and I couldn't see any difference in quality. If your eye sight isn't that good, don't bother wasting money on 4K and just get a FHD TV. The Samsung LED TV that's in my lounge only cost £500 about 2 years ago and to my eye I can't see much improvement to any of the more expensive TV's. Anyone go down the pub or been down the pub to watch F1? (some pubs do it) How many cars will retire and how many will be on the lead lap at the end of the race?

The bigger the image the more pixels you need.

Im seriously gutted that the first F1 race of the season is, not only on Mothers Day (in the UK), but also on the anniversary of when my wife and I first started dating (12yrs FYI). So my chances of being allowed to get up at 3:30am to watch the full coverage, is very very slim. Bum.

Yes, stay tuned, I'm trying to get it up. We may have to do it manually the first round but I'll get something on a site.
