Just heard Lauda sayHamilton won't back Rosberg up to protect the team....doh! Protect what? They've won both championships! Protect Rosberg naybe? I personally couldn't give a shit about anything coming out of Mercs hole. They genuinely believe they've given both drivers a fair shot at the title and all's good and "let the best man win" when they already handed it to the lame one. And I think there's a rift now between Hamilton and Dodo Wolff. Saw one interview where Dodo was asked about Lewis saying he wants to write that book and describe more about that mech swap, and Dodo was like "I could write a book in 10y too and put some things in there". Don't be too surprised if 2017 is Lewis' last year at Merc.

Yeah, hard to believe that Mercedes isn't pushing to have two world champions after everything is said and done. Hears they had to change a fuel pump for Lewis under parc ferme. Those Nico mechanics that came over have tried everything.

Anyone think Lewis is backing Rosberg up already? Fastest in the 2nd sector, one of the slowest in the 3rd and the gap isn't increasing at all.

Come on Nico, overtake Verstappen. You've got the best car in the field, should be a piece of cake!

That McLaren looked like a *cough* lame duck getting back into the pitlane. A proper exit.

If bloody Raikkonen wasn't in the picture, Ricciardo could make life way tougher for Britney.

Nothing but a mechanical will keep Nico from the championship, not on this track. Looking at Toto and Niki on pins and needles on the screen, it's pretty telling.

And how much tension there was when Nico was racing Verstappen, its clear who needs to be 2016 WDC this year 'for the good of the brand'.

Lame Duck says "I dont know what the problem is, it just failed"....this after slamming his car on the high kerb and the car broke its suspension immediately. What a tool.

Lewis is driving a masterful race, doing all he can. Mercedes continuing to push the issue of Rosberg being nabbed says it all. Keeping Nico just out of DRS range.

2nd most winning driver in F1 history On his way to the most poles in F1 history Over 50% of his races has finished on the podium Beats his teammate in both wins and poles and does all he can to defend his title despite a 4-0 deficit in mechanical issue.
Nothing to be ashamed of, let's bring on 2017, I'm sure we'll see more Red Bulls, Ferraris and maybe even the odd McLaren or Renault between Lewis and Nico.

Pissed Off with F1 right now. Is this really worth expending energy on? Most undeserving champion ever....oh hang on, there's Button. Close call.

Me too...anyway its over, lame ass manufactured Championship. Just hope Redbull can pull some punches and bring a car to take the trophies immediately next year, and by then Lewis moves of to another front runner like McLaren or even Redbull, who knows. Lewis at Redbull would be mighty sweet. Even if they have their golden boy already.
