I think I might put £50 on Max winning the championship.

I'm looking forward to it.
Atleast 2 teams, 4 drivers in with a serious crack at championship glory i think.

The battle next year will be between Ricciardo, Verstappen and Hamilton, with Hamilton taking it because of the Red Bull boys taking points from each other and the occasional podium for a Ferrari or a McLaren.

Why don't you think Nico will win it again? If he has done it once....

Why don't you think Nico will win it again? If he has done it once.... He'll keep trying, just like Kimi, Button, Villeneuve...

I'm sure this time last year you guys were claiming he would never win a single WDC as long as Lewis was in the team. Now its just that he'll never win ANOTHER WDC. All I'm saying is, this is a crazy sport, and crazy things happen. Personally I'd have preferred it if Lewis HAD quit the season after Barcelona, as the rumours have suggested happened, before Merc talked him back round...

Still quite a bit of truth to the statement though, if "we" said winning not having it fall on your lap.

Semantics has kept a lot of people from going to jail. I'm arguing discussing this with as much heartfelt effort as you.

Straight up lifted this from another discussion elsewhere. The non dominant 2013 Mercedes statistics.

Magny Cours is back! For 2018 that is. I like Magny Cours...one of my all time favourite races till today happened there, France 2000. Good times.

Still thinking Wehrlein as a junior (number 2)driver to develop and bring in top five clean consistent points. That's more than enough for Lewis to have the most dominant season he's ever had. That's what I fear most.

I'm looking forward to it. Atleast 2 teams, 4 drivers in with a serious crack at championship glory i think. I personally see next year being super competitive, we've had Renault and to an extent McLaren focusing on 2017 all season so they'll jump up in how competitive they are. As long as no team comes out with an insane package (Renault, Red Bull or Mercedes) I can see it being a close battle between McLaren, Renault, Red Bull, Ferrari and Mercedes. I'd like to see Force India and Williams stay with the pack but I don't think they will.
