Liam Catterson While I don't begrudge a Ferrari win, can we make it Kimi in the future? One or two won't hurt

There always take one (or in this case, a bunch) to try and ruin things. Booing Hamilton, really?

Nice to see there is going to be atleast 2 teams going for wins, I think even Lewis might enjoy the battle coming from someone else other than just his team mate.

My thoughts:
- Unlucky for Alonso who had a suspension issue. - Unlucky for Ricciardo who had problem after problem. - Unlucky for Palmer who AGAIN had problem after problem. - Unlucky for Kvyat who had a slow puncture and had to pit from 8th (he would have got 7th) - Impressive that Red Bull could stay with Raikkonen, the car looked impressive out of the corners which is interesting. - Mercedes panicking with Hamilton needlessly, he should have stayed out for way more laps. He apparently had a little bit of damage from going over a curb. - Ferrari look decent following other cars, however they were helped out by Mercedes panicking and Verstappen managing to hold up Hamilton. - Tyres look good, they hold on and even at the end of the race multiple drivers could set faster laps and you saw multiple drivers asking if they could try and set the fastest lap. - The extra aero is bad... the cars seem to be able to follow ok on this track (I doubt they'll be able to as much at the next track) but there really wasn't many overtakes where there wasn't any real overtaking. - There is a MUCH bigger gap between the top 6 cars and the rest of the field. - As mentioned in pre-season testing and practice Force India do look like they're 4th best but Toro Rosso are incredibly close too, it's going to be tight between them. McLaren, Renault and Hass really aren't too far behind either. - Fantastic drive from Bottas for his first race with the team, good job Valtteri! I've voted him for "Driver of the Day".

I think Hamilton would be happy to fight a guy from another team instead of the old clingy bride who chops across on track and parks the car in qualifying, and the team can't do shit about it because it's one of their own.

The crowd are being pretty twattish, well done to Mark telling the crowd off.
Props to Vettel for acknowledging that Ferrari got a fair bit of luck with Hamilton running into traffic.

Did Kimi end up with fastest lap? If he did that's his 6th at the Australian GP. Only Schumacher & Mansel have had 7 at the same race.
Lewis moves to 1 behind Prost on total Podiums, still 50 behind Schumacher.
Lewis had his 100th race leading for at least 1 lap.

Not sure why Lewis got booed EXCEPT the local paper had a thing from him saying "It would be cool if the Australian GP alternated with Sydney". Melbourne DO NOT LIKE Sydney!

Let's not get ahead of ourselves though, last year Ferrari were the closest to Merc in Melbourne. This track isn't your typical race track, I think Merc will stretch their legs a bit once the flyaway races are done. The big question is development prowess...can Ferrari match Mercedes, if so, I take my hat of to them. They just need a car 0.2s slower than Mercedes and they can win races thanks to the smurfs in the Mercedes strategy room.

You Mercedes fans need to stop saying you guys lost it, and congratulate Ferrari for winning it and turning up with the better car. As for my boys in the RedBull garage. Poor Danny Boy. But feelz for that guy. And I'm happy with a 5th for my boy Max.

That's weird, booing Lewis and cheering Vettel. Vettel stuffed Mark when they were team mates.
I didn't hear the booing, must have been getting coffee.
I've also got a lag and buffering

Otmar Szafnauer (Force India's chief operating officer) just said to Pat Symonds and Simon Lazenby "I don't know what the hell Mercedes were doing out front with Lewis brining him in when they did" haha, another team calling Mercedes out for terrible strategy!
