I dont know why I never posted them.
Short version.
Extended version.
I know I had a good time watching this but I cant really remember any tips by Hamilton on his driving technic. I know he was talking about the double apex approach at some point to maintain the most speed but I am not sure. I need to rewatch it.
As it is the same circuit Hamilton did the pole in 2013, you can compare.
Double apex approach at 0:44

And that’s why Mercedes should trust Hamilton when he requests/ suggests things. He’s the one pulling it all together and feeling it. Maybe they do trust him.......now........but it hasn’t always been the case.

Maybe they do trust him.......now........but it hasn’t always been the case. When? *thinker face*Don’t think they always trusted him with directions he wanted to go with the car and with decisions he wanted to make during the race itself. I might be wrong. I felt it particularly during the Rosberg partnership. Perhaps it was just Mercedes trying to be scrupulously fair between their two drivers. Perhaps they were trying to get optimum team points, but I felt they sometimes compromised Hamilton by denying requests he made during races. Interestingly, since Rosberg retired, Wolff has said it was he that was the more devious of the two. The one who would go to any length to win.

Hamilton has been on ghost mode lately. Need him back on full mode effect tomorrow. Other drivers are a bit boring except Ricc and Russell.

Verstappen is what Lewis was before joinning Mercedes on this side (yes this is my new favourite expression). He will paint his perfect picture in a near future when the success will come and be more easier to get.

Verstappen is what Lewis was before joinning Mercedes on this side (yes this is my new favourite expression). He will paint his perfect picture in a near future when the success will come and be more easier to get. The biggest thing going for him will be Hamilton, Vettel and Alonso leaving the sport in a few years while Verstappen is still maturing and coming into his own. If he can control himself an learn to be a little more patient he'll be a challenge to any and all in his era of the sport.
