Vikas Pota hosts Lewis to discuss his career and how the power of sport can encourage young people to reach for the stars.

Brill! What I love about Lewis ( the big one ) is how he went down to the child. Not all adults do that instinctively.

Don’t think they always trusted him with directions he wanted to go with the car and with decisions he wanted to make during the race itself. I might be wrong. I felt it particularly during the Rosberg partnership. Perhaps it was just Mercedes trying to be scrupulously fair between their two drivers. Perhaps they were trying to get optimum team points, but I felt they sometimes compromised Hamilton by denying requests he made during races. Interestingly, since Rosberg retired, Wolff has said it was he that was the more devious of the two. The one who would go to any length to win. www.racefans.net/2018/03/25/hamilton-wanted-delay-pit-stop-i-racing-sebastian/Smh they still doesnt want to listen Lewis even when his decision to delay his pit stop was the obvious one, I think he even did say that to Mercedes pitwall during the race. Fair to you to saw that since hes at Mercedes.

“Hamilton and his monstrous ego”....... This is not what the title suggests. It’s more a dig at disingenuous F1 journalists being economical with the truth and trying to make mischief to suit their anti Hamilton agenda. Some other interesting / funny snippets in there too. Like Lewis’ reply to Rosberg’s put down , that ‘Lewis loses concentration somethimes’ . www.planetf1.com/news/pit-chat-hamilton-and-his-monstrous-ego/

If I'm not mistaken....Lewis broke a pretty impressive record in China with his mediocre performance - overtaking Kimi Raikkonen for consecutive points scoring record in F1 history?

It baffles me when people said Bottas is better than Lewis when the car is difficult, its not like Bottas never struggled last year and took tenth after tenth on his face many time while Lewis was able to put the tires in the sweet spot etc. The problem with Lewis is that he wants the pole even when the car cant offer him that kind of performance, so he starts to overdrive the car and make mistakes. Classic Lewis.
