Nick Clegg (a former EU trade negotiator and European Commission official) sets out the situation on negotiations in a clear way that remain and exit voters can all understand
in simple English using simple words - Any economic relationship with Eu outside the WTO bog standard will leave us still accepting rules from the corrupt horrid people in Brussels - and no longer able to influence anything at all
Ill just leave this here so that anyone can come back to read this as the negotiations get underway

Nick Clegg? Lol This is what May says.. "I think we should be developing the model that suits the United Kingdom and the European Union" "Britain's future ties with the European Union may not mirror any of the existing relationships between non-EU countries and the bloc" ""Brexit is Brexit, we cannot open again the discussion, because if we open again the discussion we give the message against the idea of democracy," If the EU play hard ball then we leave entirely ( if that's what hard means) that enables easier terms to be made with other potential partners. ( that was me)

Ok. Want a chuckle everyone? Read the comments under this article by "the fuckwits' of the U.K. Here's a few of them.... " Headline on Reuters this morning 'Deutsche Bank expects to benefit from Brexit' you can't make it up ! These people pay themselves millions and it takes a load of 'Northern Fuckwits' ,I heard Brexit voters described in the City, to vote Leave And prove what we've been saying all along." "BBC calling, BBC Calling We have terrible news for you. GDP was 20% greater than predicted. And even worse companies are actually investing in the UK. Please do your best to dispel the truth that BREXIT is good for us. BBC calling BBC calling" "....... and imagine scenario where the full force of the establishment, state, mainstream media, big business, and big foreign politics weren't attempting to intimidate Brits on a daily basis. It ( leave vote) would have been a bigger victory than England's mauling of Pakistan the other day at Old Traffird" "It is very rare in economics that you can compare predictions with actual outcome so directly. Prediction - voting Brexit will lead to collapse in investment in UK Outcome - exactly the opposite Conclusion - we are being run by people who either don't have a clue about anthing or we are being run by people who are prepared to use any lie to keep us powerless and themselves rich." There's over two hundred of these Worth a look through. order-order.com/2016/07/27/242535/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+guidofawkes+%28Guy+Fawkes%27+blog+of+parliamentary+plots%2C+rumours+and+conspiracy%29

Again false info to appeal to simple minds The predictions were for what happens after an actual Brexit (art 50 invoked the day after the vote like promised) Brexit hasnt happened, the Government and central bank have done stimulus and taken measures GDP doesnt change a month after lol You can see from the comments that the low educated folk still havent learnt anything Someone is cheering that the German takeover of our stock exchange is great news and shows blah blah hahahaha If brexit actually happens the takeover will mean our stockmarket is operated mainly by our newest trading COMPETITOR in Frankfurt Deutche bank expects to benefit from Brexit? - ofcourse it will because all its US competitors would move to Frankfurt leaving Deutches UK branch the top dog in our own City (there are no major UK owned banks in the City btw) All this is further confirmation of the small mindedness of the uneducated and easily swayed The only reason we have foreign (Sterling discounted) investment like Glaxo is because these companies (and all the bookies) expect that THERE WILL NEVER BE A HARD BREXIT IN THE NEXT CENTURY (For simplefication, the term 'hard' Brexit means UK leaving the open market, and losing financial passport) The wool is being pulled over the eyes of those easily confused by big words like Easy/Hard brexit But even the simplest folk in the country can see that when article 50 is postponed 3x in 1 month from 'immediately' to 'soon' to 'months' to 'before 2020' then theres more to it than contemplating what we want from life over 4 years lol The biggest clue is that even the EU NOW WANT US TO DELAY AS LONG AS POSSIBLE But talk is cheap lets see what REALLY happens, apart from what might happen starting in 4 years from now lol

Lets see, one one hand we have the news that the Germans have approved their takeover of the UK stock exchange, and the EU have declared that all clearing will have to be done from inside the EU if Britain exits the common market On the other hand we have this news from our end www.eadt.co.uk/business/lloyds_to_close_200_branches_and_cut_3_000_jobs_amid_brexit_fallout_1_4634629?And Shell profits crash 72% on Brexit vote And Construction crashes 30% on Brexit vote These actual facts about our largest employers (directly affects our workers immediately) are on the back of the vote (in case it actually happens) Yet the Sun/Mirror/Express readers are actually crowing that cherry picked 'good' news like an investment by Glaxo means an actual Brexit would therefore be no problem And they wonder why they are called thickos by the whole world

Lets take a closer look at racechick 's rightwing comic First of all these are some other headlines in this goto source for the shapers of British destiny Reality of Islamic Terrorism in Merkelsommer | Douglas Murray Trump Victory Will Force Europe to Grow up | Ed West Terror New Normal for Germany & France | Douglas Murray Farage Won Brexit Vote | ConWoman Brexit Most Punk Thing in Years | Brendan O'Neill Play Clever and We’ll Keep our EU Trade | Dominic Raab Haha shows the level of this comic. Now lets examine the actual 'revelation' that post Brexit (vote) investment are super duper Sounds like these investments were all planned way before the vote, got held back after the vote and went ahead once it was clear there was no article 50 plans A thinking person would question why these deals have gone ahead AFTER Mays trip around the UK and Europe 'discussing' her vision of brexit means brexit. The Germans said No AFTER the vote, then changed their minds - not because Brexit happened but because it didnt happen, and because the EU confirmed clearing will move within the EU 'A vote endorsing London as the financial capital of a post brexit world' - but with clearing and regulation in Frankfurt? Maybe this is why the people in the City read right wing comics..err hold on maybe its because they want their intelligence insulted by the lie 'vote for brexit = unidentified brexit 4 years away' scam www.cityam.com/246331/investment-banks-have-taken-wait-and-see-approach-brexit?

Meanwhile in the 'Brexit means Brexit for thickos' manual
Luckily the thickos are not able to understand big words and nuances and to read between the lines otherwise they would surely stop celebrating long enough to realise that the latest proposed exit date of 2022 is 6 years down the line and AFTER May has left office without breaking her promise

There are now 3 groups of brexiteers
1) Those who have compromised and changed sides to the educated, those like Boris who now want a Brexit that means staying withing the open market, accepting Eu law and negotiating for some concessions on freedom of movement These want article 50 postponed for as long as it takes to get the best deal while remaining in the common market
2) The rabid brexiteers like UKIP, who are screaming for article 50 now, and who know they are being tricked by a watered down brexit that keeps us bound to Brussels. These ones are threatening to rebel against May and want a 'hard brexit' = complete removal from the Eu and Brussels influence and laws
3) The thickest and most ignorant and naive of the whole bunch. They think postponing article 50 for 6 years shows that remain PM May is fighting hard for a complete withdrawal from the EU and complete control of our borders and laws So the wool has been pulled over their eyes so that they cheer for May and eagerly wait for her to deliver the deal of the century in 6 years from now or even later if its postponed some more They cheer the inclusion of Scotland and Ireland into the decision process, they applaud the fact that EU have appointed the worst possible anti Brit negotiator and think this is good for the chances of any deal ever struck within 2 years.
Meanwhile the smart half of the country just carry on as before in the certainty that we are no closer to exiting the common markets than we have been for decades. Unfortunately there are causualties, like the construction industry who have such long lead times for making buildings that they have to act now in case the thickos do drive us out by mistake
'Brexit means Brexit' definition = 'in 6 years maybe, lets see what happens and lets get the thoughts of Scotland and Ireland and see what they think, and lets think about what we might want if we do decide to leave - we now have 6 years (with options for further delays of 5 year intervals) to fantasize, even the Eu are now ok with this delay'
And the generation of thicko who voted will be senile by then or long forgotten

You 2 have far too much time on your hands. You probably could have created your own perfect EU and ended world poverty with the effort that's gone into your rants!
I think I can settle this once and for all. First one out of you 2 to send me 1000 pounds is the best at arguing! go!!!!

And group 2 have actually been publicly slapped down by May. She contradicted Liam Fox's implication that any withdrawal from the open market is on the cards at all
This leaves group 3 with its head in the sand and its bum in the air waiting for the best bits from group 1 and 2 to miraculously appear in 6 years from now
And it leaves the remainers, like May and the cabinet and the City and the educated marveling at the naivety of the thickos as they wait 6+ years for the POSSIBILITY OF A START toward SOME of what they were promised

Time is money and Brexit is a money making opportunity for those with a grasp of the nuances. Tell you what you send me the 1000 and I'll buy Sterling and City airport shares for you and send you the proceeds when we trigger article 50 Its a shame we cant get you lot contributing to the discussion, dont be shy leigh and natny, say what you think, this has gone beyond a mere vote, people need to stand for what happens next 6 years or 60 years etc!

We cant let the villagers push for a disaster for the City that will hurt them in ways they dont understand About the Eu negotiator that was greeted as 'what fun, bring it on' Even now the villagers think we will magically get open market access, keep financial services intact, stop all immigration AND not accept any laws or regulation from EU The economic well being of the whole country is at serious risk from the misguided, who continue to try and bite the hand that feeds them Its enough to send a chap on an endless rant

LRW debate... Hahaha Seriously though, I can't agree more with 99% of what Cookie posts, can't even see a glimpse of what the leave voters see because what they want just isn't going to happen. Originally we thought Brexit wouldn't effect us in any real way but we've lost a series of clients on the grounds of having to watch their money post brexit, some of them losing their jobs because of Brexit and various other reasons If I was PM, I would give a second referendum and / or block leaving based on Scotland wanting to remain and the implications of losing Scotland. Because in the real world it's a far better option to remain than leave.

Cookin - this is nowhere near what I would describe as a discussion. This is two people trying to score points off each other. I wont waste my energy. You dont have to discuss. You merely state what you think is going on/will happen and why, or you respond to something said and leave it there Whats your best answer to this current question of leaving do you think we will actually leave the common market completely or do you think we will make a deal to retain access and accept some movement of people or do you think we will not actually invoke article 50 as it stands without a general election or further referendum We will let you off after that edit: I have created a separate poll thread to help keep choices/opinions private as this is the most divisive topic of the last 100 years (apparently)

Because in the real world it's a far better option to remain than leave. Whats amazing is how these people blindly ignore reality and fixate on things like corrupt officials and expense rigging and weigh that against social, economic and political disaster- almost like its cheering at the FA cup final and the wrong choice would only last a year truly mindless
