He was more recently head of one of the UKs largest insurance companies - Prudential
University degrees do not mean someone is well educated on a specific complex political issue, a lack of basic education however could mean that a large number of voters were completely under equiped for the same complex issue

At least Trump has a plan, even Americans are not so dumb as to vote for someone without a plan I have yet to hear any plan, all I heard so far is 3 statements repeated since he started his campaign 1) We will make America great again 2) We will build a wall 3) We will make America great again

Maybe after winning Trump will go missing in shock and then resign, and then afterwards blame Obama for not educating the voters on the meaning of a Trump win

If I needed one single thing to confirm that my choice to vote Brexit was the correct one, it is that it so enrages the likes of the hypocrite Tony Blair. There's a very good article detailing Blair's standpoint on Brexit in the publication @cookinfla6 quoted from earlier, Nakedcapitalism. The one that's "purely non 'passionate' financial viewpoint, outside the romantic and muddle headed emotional kneejerk stuff' . www.nakedcapitalism.com/2016/07/bill-black-brexit-tony-blair.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+NakedCapitalism+%28naked+capitalism%29It's quite a long article , so I won't paste it all, but it's worth a read. It also gives some explanations as to why a majority in the UK from across differing geographical, political and demographically backgrounds voted Brexit. It has rather more insight than saying ' they were the thicko's' . I recommend reading the article, but here are some quotes from it. Introducing the writer if the article...... Bill Black is running a series that shreds the logic of some prominent articles criticizing the Brexit vote. Just the way Blairite members of the Labour Party used the Brexit vote as the excuse for executing a long-standing plot against Jeremy Corbyn, so are other politicians and pundits using the results to anchor pet narratives. ON an article by Tont Blair....... The title of Blair’s article refers to the democratic vote in favor of BREXIT as a “coup,” which helps explain why he specializes in getting ever wealthier by fronting for tyrants and kleptocrats who he presents as evolving democrats. The English language is just one of the things Blair helps torture. A long paragraph here. But it does explain some if the rage from 'the thicko's' ...... Blair’s central complaint is against “populism.” He is enraged that the UK voters “demonized” “the experts” who warned that BREXIT would cause an economic catastrophe. He is appalled that “the left” in the UK is appalled by the conduct of the City’s bankers that became wealthy by gutting and filleting their customers to the tune of 50 billion pounds on payment protection insurance (PPI), ran the two largest cartels in world history, made hundreds of billions of pounds in “liar’s” loans, laundered money for drug cartels, kleptocrats, and terrorists, and nations trying to develop nuclear weapons, and helped elites worldwide evade paying their taxes. The bankers’ frauds made them spectacularly wealthy and drove the financial crisis. Blair’s destruction of effective financial regulation and supervision made all of this possible. As in the United States, the elite bankers were able to become ultra-wealthy by leading these frauds and scams with complete impunity from prosecution. But Blair is appalled that “the left” wants to restore the rule of law to the City of London’s elite bankers. Blair is outraged that after the sordid record of the bankers’ crimes, abuses, and staggering incompetence the public refused to defer to those bankers as “the experts” on BREXIT. Blair’s use of “right” and “left” is also false. There are plenty of folks on the right that are appalled by the City’s bankers’ frauds and abuses and people on the left that are worried about large scale immigration. Labour voters frequently voted in favor of BREXIT despite their party’s leaders opposition to BREXIT. Blair is in despair because it has become clear to most citizens of the UK that he and far too many political leaders represent their own self-interest. Blair is in despair because most citizens in the UK despise the bankers who made him politically powerful and wealthy while crushing the economy and view the bankers as dishonest and financially incompetent or malicious. Blair’s fundamental attack is on democracy. He implicitly claims that only people that he considers to be members of his redefined “center” are capable of devising policies worthy of enactment. the BREXIT vote was the quintessential issue on which reasonable people, could disagree – and that includes reasonable people within the same political party. For Blair, however, the “center” of the UK voters on this issue who voted in favor of BREXIT are consigned to being extremists who are unreasonable people because they disagreed with Blair’s policy preference. I guess what Blair is saying is that if you don't think the same as me, then you're 'a thicko'. How arrogant. ( my words, not the article) Blair is outraged that after the sordid record of the bankers’ crimes, abuses, and staggering incompetence the public refused to defer to those bankers as “the experts” on BREXIT. The article concludes... Again, reasonable people could and did disagree about BREXIT and the degree of support for BREXIT varied greatly along multiple demographic, geographic, class, and ideological dimensions. I have to agree that this "purely non 'passionate' financial viewpoint, outside the romantic and muddle headed emotional kneejerk stuff, explains things rather better than concluding that the majority vote, who voted Brexut are 'thicko's."

Oh boo hoo, lets all blame the City that carries the rest of the country. Maybe the 'Northern Powerhouse' can start making things and actually net contribute. However I agree that Blair is the worst example of self serving elitist crook out there, and hopefully the Scots will soon indict him as a war criminal The fact remains, those that incited the leave vote forgot to tell their voters that it was near impossible to just leave, cut immigration, save the Financial services industry and return 350mill to the NHS And those that incited the vote have all run away leaving it to decent folk to try and explain the truth and facts to those who didnt bother with public domain info explaining simple things like the NHS 350mill www.independent.co.uk/news/people/nigel-farage-resignation-ukip-leader-resigns-james-o-brien-lbc-brexit-reaction-a7118981.html

By the way 'thicko' is not an absolute term, its more like a collective term of endearment for 'passionate if somewhat underequipped with facts by the authorities' patriots Even phds in physics count as thickos if they forget to check their change when leaving a cornershop - its not about intelligence per see, more about been armed with specific facts

Also whatever Blair did, was started by Thatcher. De-regulation, privatisation, globalisation, elitism, crooked deals, dodgy havens for drug cartels, kleptocrats, and terrorists, apartheid support, genocide
all started by the Tory darling Thatcher, and now the City gets a bit carried away lets just cut our nose to spite our face?
Happily for the UK, one populist leader promises real change and hasnt run away when the shit hit the fan, despite demonisation from the children of Maggie

Okok, the bottomline is the decision has been made, and we cannot ignore the results of a plebscite or try and reverse it by having another identical one. That road opens up complete unravelling of democracy in the UK and makes us the laughing stock of the world.
Both sides need to move forward together but this time under complete awareness of the full facts. Its obvious we cant leave like the fascists want - kick out all foreigners and sit at home trading with ourselves. Therefore a deal must be made with the Germans (lets face it the EU trading block is Germany)
The thing is not to negotiate from a position of weakness or blind passion but to have some rational serious heavy hitters leading the negotiations - not a twat like Blair. Maybe an outsider like Corbyn, someone with principles and not a member of the greedypig network. And not some Tory just after a job who doesnt believe in leaving (the leading Tory candidates)
We need a general election first and we need to vote, as a country for who can negotiate us through this for the best compromise possible.
We need to move away from the blind hate and simplicity of 'we can just leave it will be allright somehow' and make a deal. And we dont want unelected selfserving muppets with their own selfish agendas leading
This article explains best the context

LOL! You think Corbyn should lead Brexit? He can't even lead his own party. He also forgets which side he supports. Yes I can just see Corbyn commanding huge respect on the world stage. We need someone honest who can drive a hard and fair bargain for the whole country. Who doesnt belong to the banks and has grass roots support from the members of his own party, not the backstabbing selfserving mps - the real members The pig loving Cameron has run off and is a member of the elite the populists have risen against, the leading 2 Tory candidates are not known or liked by anyone, both are previous remainers who are only interested in the job And like your video shows Corbyn understand both sides of the debate, leave and remain Corbyn at least is brave enough to stand up to the elites and bankers and the backstabbers using brexit as an excuse for a coup. At least he hasnt run away like the Tories If we have a general election he would be the only candidate with popular following. He just needs to cull his party of the elites and he has enough support from the man on the street who has had enough of Tories and is beginning to see how this is all their selfish fault I think I covered everything there, ah 'he cant run his own party?' www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/jeremy-corbyn-labour-leadership-chilcot-report-latest-news-alex-salmond-a7116926.html
