I saw a thread on reddit which I have no idea if his analysis is correct or not, but based on Hamiltons crazy 1 second a lap faster than everyone including those on fresh tires that if he drove to get all the performance out of them to try and win by distance rather than cruise along that he could have got a further 10-15~ laps out of them which would have put him a further 25~ seconds ahead.
He then could have switched to the medium and gone to the end whilst still being faster than the Ferraris or any other team.
He worked out that they would have been 35-45 seconds ahead of Ferrari but obviously he would have used more fuel, would have used more of his engine and puts himself at risk of delaminations or just overcooking a corner.
It's going to be interesting if the Bahrain heat can help Ferrari out a bit but still as long as Mercedes don't screw up stratagy they should be comfortably a 1, 2 at Bahrain.

Nighttime race, the desert cools off quite a bit at night. I completely forgot about it being a dusk race. Interesting. Ferrari's performance should be in practice and qualifying but not in the race.
