Rosberg under investigation by scrutineers. Not sure why as I believe one can run illegal parts in practice- what drama!

Rosberg under investigation by scrutineers. Not sure why as I believe one can run illegal parts in practice- what drama! It was for covering the rear of the car when the car was on the truck, this is not allowed. However I'm sure they can get away with it by saying it was a damaged part or to stop hydralic fluid from leaking onto the garrage thus making a slip hazard. However, I'm sure they'll just pay the £500 fine or whatever and continue.

Pit lane start for Rosberg, or grid place drop - that would be real entertainment at the British GP lol

Pit lane start for Rosberg, or grid place drop - that would be real entertainment at the British GP lol I actually have to disagree, we need Rosberg up with Hamilton or both Mercs and Both Ferrari's to start from the back, otherwise Hamilton will run away into the distance and it would be boring up front. Lewis seemed to be struggling to get his car to his liking today . Anyone got any info on that Even Rosberg wasn't comfortable in his car, just he hooked a lap up. Many others complained on the radio too, some gusty wind coming across the track, should be ironed out for Saturday Practice 3 / Qualli

Impressive from Toro Rosso AGAIN! Obliterating Red Bull at the moment
Raikkonen looks much more comfortable than Vettel does.
A good step up from Manor, they look closer than ever this year.
McLaren appear to be mixing it with Sauber which is surprising this track is one that I would not have even thought about it because it's a track heavy on power.

Well done Lewis! Epic pole Coulthard actually said the following after q2- ' Lewis will want pole to confirm his feeling of dominance, not that he has dominated, its only 7 - 1 '

Track temperatures stopping them from going faster, will be interesting what the weather is going to be like tomorrow.
As I expected Williams faster than Ferrari.
Toro Rosso struggled badly with the gusty wind.
Raikkonen again out qualified Vettel.
Loved the deletion of laps when drivers ran wide.

I heard Racechick screaming her lungs out when Lewis got out of his car. Well done to Lewis, pulled it out of the bag again after being on the back foot in Quali. Nice to see Ferrari getting their ass kicked by a privateer with a quarter of their budget. Most interesting to hear Lauda's dialogue with Ted NL "Lewis on pole in England...what could be better" T "There's always tomorrow, but at least you have a happy Lewis Hamilton tonight" NL "That's the most important thing for me, yeah"

Lewis is now in another elite group...there are only two other drivers that have more pole position... Ayrton Senna & Michael Schomacher

Interesting comment from Lewis in the interview that he gave up some speed in order to set up for race day tomorrow.

Nice to see Ferrari getting their ass kicked by a privateer with a quarter of their budget. I think Ferrari simply need to spend more money.

A moron on another site said:
Hamilton is getting a bit of favoritism from Mercedes as they are going to give him an upgraded clutch set of his own to use at Silverstone while Rosberg remains on the old 2014 clutches. Hamilton says he had better starts on these clutches in the first four races of the season so he is hoping that they give him an advantage over Rosberg this weekend in front of the home crowd.

Wait, where was that posted? That's got to be the idiotic statement of the year.

Moron might be a tad generous! Since when did drivers feel disfavoured by being allowed to remain on a clutch that has been working better for them? 'Ah Nico, youare happy with your clutch and lewis is not andwants to change his settings, so we are gonna favour him by allowing you to remain with the one you like'
