We're almost there... I mean seriously, in a couple of days you have to have the Spa picks in for the Forum League. Now excuse me, I have a solar eclipse to get ready for!

Roll the dice. Maybe they'll be a bit more in agreement come Thursday.

Minimum Starting Pressures - Slicks
EOS Camber Limit
High pressure for the sake of Mercedes until Pirelli decreases tyre pressure in FP2 for the sake of Ferrari.

Minimum Starting Pressures - Slicks
EOS Camber Limit
High pressure for the sake of Mercedes until Pirelli decreases tyre pressure in FP2 for the sake of Ferrari. So the rear pressure is down .5psi from last year... when everyone complained about the blistering. At least that shouldn't happen given the harder compound and cooler temps this year.

Yup it shouldn't be that much of a problem. However, lowering tire pressure should give more contact with the tarmac and thus increase temperatures, so we'll see during free pratices or race how they behave. Pirelli tires are always having problems whatever the context to be honest.

Hamilton must win Spa and Monza. Faster he will enlarge the gap on Bottas in the driver's championship. Faster he will be backed by the whole team and fight against Vettel for the title. He has to step up his game. And this better not be determined on an engine problem Toto.

Agreed, I know a lot of where he is right not is his doing, Baku most of all. But there was no excuse for him to come in behind Bottas in Q in Hungary and Austria. He's given away points and Mercedes has given away points.
Can't have that the second half of the season. With the exception of Singapore though there should be no other circuits where Mercedes are on the back foot. They should be even or better suited than Ferrari on every circuit.
There's still 225 points left, a gap of points where it is now is meaningless, but they have to make sure the free kick points are over and done with.

You said it better. It's because of his 'do or die' type of driving/approach in qualifying. Sometimes he should just care about placing the car ahead of his teammate and focus on the start the next day.
I actually think Mercedes will be competitive at Singapore.
Renault will have a new software and hardware also according to engine chief Remi Taffin.
This Honda engine drama is too funny.

"Mick Schumacher, will drive demonstration laps in a 1994 Benetton"
I wonder if he will be presenting it to Hamilton when he equals his dads pole record ?

i.imgur.com/iBpczgk.pngToo funny, Mercedes are on Softs and can match Ferrari on Ultra Softs (Ferrari set their laps later on in qualifying so I would expect Mercedes can better Ferrari. Remember Raikkonen is no slouch at Spa, he is supreme here.

Interesting to see how Hamilton is not the fastest in any of the sectors, but still almost 3 tenths clear at the top.
Someone knows how Mercedes was in the long runs compared to Ferrari and RB ?

There's a lot of sandbagging going on with Mercedes & Ferrari, the best sectors for both teams are matched in S1 and S3 for SS vs US.
I wouldn't be surprised if they're all setting their cars up for a wet qualifying, might be a reason why Mercedes has kept their t-wing.

Team Radio: " Umm Max, you were 1.5s faster than the Mercedes that last lap" Max: "Whoops" someone showing race pace they weren't supposed to?

From what I heard on the commentary, Hamilton then Vettel then Verstappen then Bottas then Ricciardo then Raikkonen with a total average difference about 0.8s between Lewis and Kimi

I need Lewis to drop kimis time by about 4 tenths and that'll do nicely.
