Hamilton has just made himself clearly the best driver on the grid, we've know for a while that he's one of the best. He showed up in F1 and performed immediately, he took on a 2x world champion in his rookie year and matched him, he's supreme in the wet just look at this qualifying, just look at Australia 2014, just look at Silverstone 2008, he's able to get pole and wins when he really doesn't have the best car.

He was in a class of his own! Star driver! I'm not a Hamilton fan because he's a Brit. I'm a Hamilton fan because he's the best!

That's a good lap, a bit poor in sector 1 (still the fastest) but a lot of cars were struggling in that sector. Sector 2 and 3 however were perfect, taking karting wet lines as much as possible and applying the throttle with perfection.
He got a bit excited in sector 3 after his delta showing him to be well up on a time and lost maybe a tenth.
Did anyone else hear the awesome sounds of the turbo, it sounded futuristic and jet-engine like. The wet weather made them sound awesome.

Just imagine if Stroll took the lead into turn 1... I know it wouldn't last long, but it would be a memorable moment!

Good graphic of what I was explaining before. now what Ted says that Mercedes may have a way to get oil through the valves is complete conjecture, and has not been proven, clearly a dismantling of an engine when it's presented for homologation would have revealed it. Understand that what's happening in this video is all a natural process of lubricating the cylinder. Obviously the higher the oil consumption rate over the 100 kilometers the higher the amount of oil that can be introduced into the fuel burn.

Anyone else notice the 'best driver on the grid' got his ass handed to him by a rookie in the wet....in equal machinery.

Headline on ESPNF1, Massa's advice to Stroll: 'Just go for it'
Probably something that Ham fans wouldn't really want to hear I would think.

Yeah I remember Massa's 'go for it ' in 2011!
Hey I thought I heard that Kimi was starting from the pitlane. I thought WHAT!! Then I thought, he's doing it to move Vettel up one. Was panicking and looking all over Internet. But he's not starting from the pitlane. I dreamt it all.
