Its funny how all the previous Ferrari moaners about unfair freezes and stifled development and boring F1 and Merc killing things by being too good have all gone silent and are sudenly finding F1 exciting again because ferrari are beating RBR and Williams.
Im even reading serious Ferrari fans saying they are catching Merc with some even talking about beating them in the second half of this year.
Too funny, Merc cant even be bothered to remove the sandbags anymore for quali. In the race we will see exactly what the performance gap is that Merc have been disguising cleverly.
Nico will be forced to dust Seb of the grid to keep in touch with Lewis, and Lewis will want to maintain healthy gap to Nico. I have a feeling Kimi will beat Seb by getting his primes out the way on heavy fuel load, leaving his options till the second half. And Seb will be run ragged trying to chase Nico and will have to fuel save like crazy later on when Kimi is on options

I'm reading this on other sites as well, its amazing how fickle the human mind can be. Merc dusted Ferrari away just 2 weeks ago and suddenly people think the gap is almost non existent just because Vettel made a lap much later than Lewis in rapidly changing conditions. Typical Tifosi mentality, scream and shout without logic....bitch and moan when not getting their way.

Yeah I saw that on a few sites, Mercedes should walk away in the race again...
Just look in part 2 of qualli where Hamilton breezed past Kimi & a Sauber when he started to do a second lap...

Why did they bring both Mercs in after 5 laps? That was stupid, when Vettel wasn't coming in! This whole race seemed like Merc totally underestimating Ferrari from the beginning!
Big story now is that these guys have got their donkey cart together. Credit to the Arrivabene guy, he's turned these clowns around after politicking around and getting the freeze lifted.

I bet Sagitt...has got SaggyT-drawers...wetwetwet... Well Merc let LH down big time with the tyres.... They played it too cool. And this weekend had too many blips. Lewis missed whole of FP1 and almost FP2, using the better tyres in qual, stupid strategy in the race, and missing the better tyre when it counted. They better wake up and understand this isn't a 2 second car anymore.

My mother used to say..if you lot (my brothers) don't shut up...I'll bang your heads together.... Merc have made themselves look complete amateurs ...bring back Ross...to sort the headbangers out... It was apparent from the first pit stop...they were on the wrong tack...

Yes. They thought this would be easy and they underestimated Ferrari, I don't think Ferrari will always have it that easy, but Merc better wake up!!

That was a monument screw up by Mercedes with strategy, good call from Ferrari and well driven by both Ferrari drivers. It's hilarious in IRC and other F1 sites they're already saying "Ferrari are back" and that "ferrari are better than Mercedes" that they were out-raced on pure pace... Nuts how fanboys and fangirls can't see the obvious, Merc made a bad call, Ferrari made a good call. Without the SC both Mercs would have been 10 seconds up the road. Easy to see that based on their laptimes on each tyre. FOM made even more fuckups:

Ferrari have gone all out...they've been practicing pitstops etc all weekend & generally honing-in on every little detail/part of their package...they deserved the win... Vettel knew exactly what he wanted to do with the tyres....following Michael S type driver led team... & Kimi with all his probs...came back to a brilliant fourth... James Allison & Arrivebe...top job... I still bloody hate them...but fair do's...

Merc like rabbits in headlights....they seem unable to change their strategy to what is actually happening..... They seemed to be planning a Bahrain 2014 type finish......with Nico R on the better tyres? When Ferrari or should I say a German/Vettel....took advantage of what was actually happening.... Bloody disaster...for Merc, surely someone could have worked out what might be happening... Maybe they were expecting rain/luck to come into the mix...

Great race I thought. Well done to Seb and Ferrari, I didn't expect that result at all! (As is reflected in my fruitless POOL choices).
Are Ferrari likely to remain a threat to Merc over the course of the season?
